When does the 1Mic Independent Artists Tour begin?
The full tour officially kicks off in April 2026, but we’re starting early with two special launch events in Los Angeles and Oakland this January. Don’t miss the momentum!
What perks do I get as a performer?
ll selected artists receive national exposure, plus flights for you and two guests, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations, so you can focus on the stage while we handle the rest.
How old do I have to be to perform?
Artists must be 18 or older to sign up and hit the stage.
Will the tour be recorded or livestreamed?
Yes! Performances will be professionally filmed and streamed through a major entertainment platform, giving artists the chance to reach a global audience beyond the venue.
What music genres are accepted?
We’re currently accepting Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop artists, whether you rap, sing, or do both. If your sound moves the crowd, we want to hear it.
How are artists selected?
Artists are reviewed based on their music, social presence, and performance potential. We’re looking for talent with both skill and star power.
