Alejandro Fernández and Carín León Push “Me Está Doliendo” to Dual No. 1 Spots on Charts

Carín León and Alejandro Fernández have achieved significant success with their song “Me Está Doliendo,” marking a notable rise on various music charts. On a recent Latin Airplay chart, dated September 20, the song claimed the coveted number one spot, following its ascent to the top of the Regional Mexican Airplay chart nearly a month earlier. This achievement showcases the track’s broad appeal across different listener demographics.

The song’s climb to the top was propelled by an impressive 10 million audience impressions in the United States for the week ending September 11, a 58% increase from the previous week. This surge in popularity earned it the title of Greatest Gainer on the Latin Airplay chart, a distinction given to the song with the largest week-over-week gain in audience impressions among the top 50 tracks.

Beyond its success on the airplay charts, “Me Está Doliendo” also performed well on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart, maintaining its number one position for a second week with 8.9 million impressions, reflecting a continued 58% growth. Such impressive figures are a testament to the song’s resonance with the audience.

The track’s increasing popularity is also evident in its rise on the Hot Latin Songs chart, where it jumped from number 49 to 20, reaching a new peak and marking Alejandro Fernández’s strongest showing this decade. This chart measures a blend of radio airplay, streaming data, and digital sales, highlighting the multi-faceted appeal of “Me Está Doliendo.”

For Carín León, this marks his fourth number one on the Latin Airplay chart in 2025 alone, contributing to a total of six chart-topping titles in his career. Meanwhile, Alejandro Fernández celebrates his 12th number one with this track, surpassing Marco Antonio Solis for most number ones by a regional Mexican artist since the inception of the Latin Airplay chart in 1994.

The successful collaboration between León and Fernández not only enhances their individual legacies but also underscores the dynamic nature of Latin music, continually evolving and captivating audiences worldwide.
