Jelly Roll’s Continued Success in Country Music

Jelly Roll’s streak of hits continues with his latest triumph, securing the number one spot on Country Airplay chart with his eighth song, “Heart of Stone”. This achievement highlights a significant moment dated for October 11, showcasing a 9% increase in audience impressions, accumulating up to 33 million between September 26 and October 2, as reported by Luminate.

This Nashville artist’s journey with “Heart of Stone” was a collaborative effort with Zach Crowell, Shy Carter, and Blake Pendergrass. It represents the third single from his album Beautifully Broken, which had a stellar debut last October, hitting No. 1 on both Top Country Albums and the all-genre 200. The success follows his previous album, Whitsitt Chapel, released in June 2023, which also enjoyed top rankings, peaking at No. 2 on the country survey and No. 3 on the 200.

Remarkably, all of Jelly Roll’s released singles to country radio have achieved the No. 1 spot, maintaining his flawless record on the Country Airplay chart. His prior chart-topping single, “Liar”, dominated for six straight weeks beginning in February, marking his longest chart leadership. His consecutive No. 1s establish him as having the longest ongoing top-charting streak among all music acts.

Chart-Topping Influence

His influence extends beyond typical country music boundaries, as Jelly Roll has also penetrated other charts. His album Beautifully Broken excelled in both streaming and sales, demonstrating broad audience appeal. Singles like “Son of a Sinner” and “Need a Favor” have not only topped the Country Airplay charts but have also been recognized on rock and alternative lists. Furthermore, tracks like “Liar” have conquered the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, securing four No. 1 positions, which highlights his cross-genre appeal.

Jackson Dean’s Rising Star

Meanwhile, Jackson Dean has captured the attention of the country music world with his latest single “Heavens to Betsy”, which has climbed into the top 10 of the Country Airplay chart. Moving from position 11 to 10 with a 7% increase to 16.5 million impressions, Dean is confirming his place as a prominent artist in country music. His previous track, “Don’t Come Lookin'”, peaked at number three in December 2022, solidifying his reputation as a talented singer-songwriter.
