Chart-Topping Success for HUNTR/X and Tate McRae on Hot 100

In a remarkable display of popularity and cross-cultural appeal, HUNTR/X’s song “Golden” maintains its No. 1 position on the Hot 100 chart for the eighth straight week. From the energetic Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters, the track not only captivates audiences but also makes history.

The song features performances by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI, portraying the roles of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey from the movie. Their harmonious blend has now tied the record for the eighth-longest duration at the top of the charts for a song from a movie in the Hot 100’s 67-year history. Remarkably, it stands as the second-longest-reigning hit by an all-women group.

Since its debut in August, “Golden” has achieved several milestones, including becoming the longest-leading track by an animated group in the history of the charts. The soundtrack of KPop Demon Hunters also made a significant mark by being the first to produce four simultaneous top 10 hits on the Hot 100.

Amidst this ongoing success, the entire soundtrack continues to resonate, having held the No. 1 spot on the 200 alongside the Hot 100 during the week of September 20.

Tate McRae’s Notable Chart Entry

Meanwhile, Tate McRae sees her new single “Tit for Tat” debut impressively at No. 3 on the Hot 100, marking it as her third entry in the top 10. McRae’s catchy and engaging style continues to attract a wide array of listeners, bolstering her position in the music industry.
