The incident, which occurred just before 1 p.m. PT, was swiftly reported to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, who disclosed that Simmons might have fainted or passed out preceding the crash.

Following the incident, Simmons was briefly hospitalized but was soon discharged and returned home for recovery. His quick return to normalcy was highlighted by a representative from KISS, who mentioned Simmons was “already back to work” the following day.
