Kane & Katelyn Brown to Executive Produce New Lifetime Holiday Film
Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown, a dynamic couple known for their musical talents, are stepping into film production with their latest venture as executive producers for a new Lifetime holiday movie titled Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch.
The film draws inspiration from their popular song “Thank God,” a favorite that soared to the top of Country Airplay chart earlier in February 2023. Narratively, the film weaves a tale that resonates with the song’s themes such as love, redemption, and the spirit of faith. The song not only earned them three CMA Award nominations but also clinched the CMT Music Award for video of the year.
Set against a festive backdrop, the movie features Arielle Kebbel and Tyler Hilton, who bring the narrative to life. Kebbel plays an equestrian-assisted therapist and single mom, while Hilton portrays a professional hockey player whose path to recovery from an injury leads him to her charming ranch.
“Mixing our love for Christmas with the message of our music is a dream come true,” stated Kane and Katelyn Brown, sharing their joy about this unique blend of their artistic and personal lives. Despite not acting in the film, their musical hit “Thank God” will be a recurring melody, featured three times throughout the movie.
The Browns have collaborated closely with the creative team to ensure that the film reflects the essence of their music, while Adam Reed, another executive producer on the project, praised the universal appeal of the Browns’ music which easily translates into the cinematic narrative.
Elaine Frontain Bryant, an executive at A&E, Lifetime, and LMN, expressed enthusiasm about the Browns joining the Lifetime family. “Their ability to tell compelling stories through music makes them perfect for bringing this heartfelt film to our audience,” she remarked.
