SXSW London 2026: Exciting Details and Dates Announced
SXSW London will once again captivate audiences from June 1 to June 6, 2026, in East London, following its inaugural event last year. The festival promises to enhance the interactive, film, and music components that drew widespread acclaim in its first year.
Event Highlights and Ticket Information
The festival’s 2026 iteration will continue to take place in the vibrant Shoreditch area, which hosted the 2025 edition. Enthusiasts can mark their calendars as ticket sales commence on October 20, available through the festival’s website.
2025 Recap and What’s New in 2026
Last year, the festival featured memorable moments including a live performance by Tems at The Stage, the European premiere of Eminem’s documentary Stans, and a special appearance by King Charles.
For 2026, SXSW London is introducing 15 innovative conference tracks. These will cover cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, startup innovation, and immersive realities. This expansion is indicative of the festival’s commitment to merging technology, business, and creative pursuits.
Call for Submissions: Get Involved
Submissions are now open for session proposals concerning the conference, music, and screen verticals. Public review of these proposals will commence after submissions close on December 7 for the conference, November 24 for the music vertical, and December 31 for screen. The selection involves a rigorous review by an advisory group and editorial team, post-public voting.
Last year, the festival received 9,868 submissions across the three verticals, with 40,000 votes cast in the conference category alone, emphasizing the community’s active role in shaping the event.
A Platform for Creativity and Innovation
Katy Arnander, Director of Programming for SXSW London, emphasized, “Bringing SXSW to London is about fostering a hub where technology, business, and creativity can intersect effectively. In our second year, we are determined to amplify the scope of ideas and discussions, drawing in more diverse voices and innovative disciplines.”
She further added, “Our goal for the 2026 festival is not only to continue the successful trends from our inaugural year but also to introduce participants to novel and unexpected perspectives that drive forward-thinking conversations in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.”
