UK Launch of Anti Social Camp: A Stage for Global Musical Collaboration
The UK debut of the Anti Social Camp at London’s Tileyard is set to be a groundbreaking event in the music industry. Celebrated for creating collaborative opportunities for musicians globally, the camp is likened to “SXSW for songwriters” and has announced an impressive lineup for its first UK festival.
Slated for November 3-7, this free, four-day extravaganza promises to bring together a diverse group of artists, producers, and songwriters from around the world. The primary goal is to foster creativity and collaboration, allowing participants to craft and refine new musical works.
Since its inception in New York City five years ago, Anti Social Camp has hosted influential musicians such as Nile Rodgers and Jacob Collier. Its previous edition featured over 200 artists who participated in recording sessions across 40 studios and attended 10 public events.
Star-Studded Lineup and Activities
The UK edition will see performances and sessions featuring notable artists like PinkPantheress and Dave Bayley, the frontman of Glass Animals. They will be joined by Jamie Cullum, Billy Bragg, Nathan Sykes of The Wanted, Parson James, and Nicholas Petricca of WALK THE MOON, along with 200 additional artists set to be announced.
“Anti Social Camp has been a pivotal platform for musicians to connect and create together, and now we’re excited to bring this experience to the UK,” said Danny Ross, founder of Anti Social Camp. “Tileyard is an ideal partner with its vibrant music scene and extensive facilities, boasting 150 recording studios on its campus.”
Tileyard, described as a hub for the UK’s leading music labels and artists since its opening in 2011, is eagerly anticipating the festival. “Collaborating on the Anti Social Camp UK is an exciting new venture that aligns perfectly with our community’s creative spirit,” commented Michael Harwood, co-founder of Tileyard.
Partnerships and Support
This event is supported by a robust list of partners including TIDAL, Splice, and TikTok, along with Believe Music Publishing and PRS. Venue partners such as Samsung Kx and Colours Hoxton are also on board, ensuring a well-facilitated event.
Furthermore, War Child UK is the chosen charity partner, emphasizing the festival’s commitment to social causes.
With 10,000 applications received, the anticipation for the camp is high, with only 200 artists selected to participate. As the event nears, a full schedule of sessions and activities will be unveiled, promising a dynamic and engaging experience for all attendees.
