Madonna Revisits ‘Bedtime Stories’ with Exclusive 30th Anniversary Collection

In an exciting development for music enthusiasts, Madonna has officially announced the release of Bedtime Stories – The Untold Chapter, an eight-track EP that serves as a homage to her sixth studio album. Scheduled for release on November 28, this special edition brings a new dimension to the 1994 album known for its soulful and introspective exploration of love.

A Deep Dive into ‘Bedtime Stories’

The upcoming EP will include tracks that showcase the evolution of the album’s distinctive R&B tone. Fans of the original will be delighted to find early demos, alternate versions, and rare tracks such as the “Quiet Storm Demo Remix” of “Survival” and the “Allstar New Single Mix” of “Secret”. Additionally, the “Howie Tee New Clean Edit” of “Human Nature” promises to refresh this classic with a modern twist.

The EP will be available in various formats, including black vinyl and digital downloads. A deluxe 2-CD edition will also be available, which includes the original album alongside the new EP, packaged with a 20-page booklet filled with lyrics and illustrations. Collaborations and Artistic Contributions

In her venture to revitalize these tracks, Madonna collaborated with renowned producer Stuart Price, known for their successful project Confessions on a Dance Floor. Together, they have mixed and edited the tracks to stitch together what Madonna refers to as a “cohesive new chapter”. The accompanying artwork features unreleased images from a 1994 photo session with Paolo Roversi, initially intended for the “Bedtime Story” single artwork.

Madonna’s revisit to the Bedtime Stories era doesn’t stop here. A silver vinyl edition of the original album will also be released on the same day at selected retailers.

Madonna’s Nostalgic Return to Warner Records

Amidst this exciting release, Madonna has also returned to Warner Records, the label where her music career skyrocketed. She is currently working on a sequel to Confessions on a Dance Floor with Stuart Price, set to debut next year. This comes after her nostalgic release of Veronica Electronica in July, featuring rare remixes from her acclaimed Ray of Light album.
